The Great Aloha Run is just around the corner on Monday, February 17th! \ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f Is anyone participating? While the Honolulu Marathon is a popular event for tourists, the Great Aloha Run is a charity running event that is especially beloved by locals, boasting the largest participation in Hawaii.<\/p>\n

This long-standing, popular event isn’t just for competitive runners; it’s also loved by those who enjoy jogging or walking. It’s a family-friendly race that attracts participants of all ages, from kids to seniors. Many people participate with their families or even bring small children along to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian scenery together while running.<\/p>\n

If you’re planning to take part, I highly recommend taking care of your body after the race! Since the Great Aloha Run is an event that even those who don’t usually exercise can enjoy, it\u2019s likely that many people only run or walk on this day of the year.\ud83d\ude09 For those folks, a light jog or walk can still lead to aches and pains the next day if you aren’t careful!<\/p>\n

To prevent that, be sure to treat your body to a massage after the event to relieve any fatigue. Since February 17th is a holiday, places are likely to get busy, so if you have a preferred time, I recommend making a reservation in advance! \u2728<\/p>\n
